The best news ever is that life with IBD is not ab The best news ever is that life with IBD is not about being super restrictive in your diet forever or "paying" for eating some steak or veggies.

Getting to that point is strategic. Heal the gut, calm the nervous system and immune system, adapt diet and lifestyle to become IBD healing-friendly, and if any deeper work is needed, like for healing inflamed tissue, restoring digestive function, or investigating infections, doing that as well.

For the IBD community interested in taking more control of their wellness, you can sign up for your private month of healing with me, in my bio. 🩷

I remember when I first created my Instagram @girl I remember when I first created my Instagram @girlinhealing in 2012. My main purpose of creating content was to share with as many people as I could that the narrative about life with IBD (can't eat anything, always in pain, married to medications, food doesn't matter) is not a total truth.

And I remember the first time someone got mad about this. I was stunned 😂 They didn't want this information. I didn't get it.

Anywhooooo being skeptical is fine, but if you treat every opportunity to heal like the dead end you found in the medical system then you'll be your own roadblock to healing.

She improved across all major issues: nausea/vomiting episodes, heaviness after eating, fatigue especially after eating, and in the process has a holistic toolkit of diet strategies, supplements, and lifestyle tactics she'll continue healing through 🌱

She's healing tissue, restoring digestive fire after a long time of suppressing it on the acid blockers, is eating more nutrient dense meals to fuel herself, and gaining energy. What more can you ask for?🤍

I'm now taking on clients in my Self-Healer Starter Package: one month of personalized healing protocols and 1:1 guidance designed for your body and your goals. Comment or DM me "SELF-HEALER" to get started or go right to the link in my bio ⚡️
