Buffalo Deviled Eggs (Dairy Free, Paleo)

Ingredients

6 hard boiled eggs

3 tbsp mayo *

1 tbsp hot sauce

1/2 tsp sea salt

1/4 tsp garlic powder

2 chives

Instructions

  1. Hard boil 6 eggs. I covered the eggs in water in a saucepan, brought to a boil and removed after 8-9 minutes for yolks that were not completely hardened. Then I put them in an ice bath.
  2. Peel eggs and slice in half.
  3. Gently scoop out the yolks and add them to a plastic food storage bag.
  4. Add the rest of the ingredients and close the bag. Mix everything together by squeezing and moving the contents from the outside of the bag.
  5. Cut the tip off of one end of the bag to create a piping bag. Pipe the filling into each halve.
  6. Chop the chives finely and sprinkle on top.

 

Notes

* Get a mayo without toxic oils. Regular mayo is usually made with canola, vegetable, or soybean oil.

* For egg free, Sir Kensington’s makes an egg free avocado oil mayo.
