Work With Me
I will be offering remote nutrition services at the start of 2018 as a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (NTP) and certified AIP coach.
These will be done through a combination of video calls, phone calls, and emails. Sessions will be available for purchase after a free 10 minute consultation call with me!
Who is this for?
*First and foremost, I am going to work with clients who are serious about working on regaining health. You must be ready to made dietary and lifestyle changes to your life. We can do this slowly, but it is the only way the protocol will work.*
We may be a good fit if you:
- Have digestive trouble you want to correct, whether you have a diagnosed condition or not.
- Have been diagnosed with Crohn’s disease, Ulcerative colitis, Celiac disease, leaky gut, or IBS and want to work on healing your gut.
- Are looking for accountability for better overall health.
I will support you into transiting to a healthier diet for your needs as well as address aspects of your lifestyle that could be hindering your shot at optimal health.
I know from personal experience (11 years worth, ahem) that digestive problems are uncomfortable at best and can really interfere with life at worst. I have learned so much through my own experiences that I can share, but my certifications as an NTP and as a coach certified in the autoimmune paleo protocol (AIP diet) gave me the research-based approach I needed to fully understand the “why” behind implementing dietary and lifestyle changes.
What is an NTP?
NTP stands for Nutritional Therapy Practitioner. I was certified by the Nutritional Therapy Association (NTA). When I came across this program it was about 7 months since I graduated college with an elementary education degree. I was taking that first year post-grad to nanny and figure out what I would do with my life. I had to be honest with myself and admit that being a classroom teacher was too much work juggling Crohn’s disease at the same time. I was sad, because my passion for teaching was evident since I was in my first years of school. But, I knew there was something out there for me.
This program spoke to me like nothing else ever has. The most fundamental philosophy of the NTA is that food comes first when it comes to living our healthiest lives. The NTA believes in solid, real-food nutrition, a lifestyle with managed stress, and supplements when needed. It was what I had been already living for the past decade, so I knew this would be perfect!
How can I help you?
As an NTP, I will evaluate honest food journals filled out by you, analyze the symptoms you are experiencing, and use my knowledge and tools to determine what dietary, lifestyle, and supplemental (if needed) changes should be made in your life.
Additionally, I will use my expertise as an AIP certified coach to help implement that diet with autoimmune clients.
We will work together in this process. I will use my background to give you the “whys” and “whats” and you must implement and put in the work.
Use the form above to add your email to my list and I will send out more information when I get closer to accepting clients. I look forward to working with you!
